Terms of service for snakkermeget.dk

1. 1. Who the agreement is with

   These terms are a binding agreement between you as a user and GIJA HUB MB (company code 307210538, Polocko g. 4B-20, LT-01204 Vilnius, Lithuania), which operates snakkermeget.dk. All payments on snakkermeget.dk are made through Stripe Managed Payments, where Stripe and Link are the merchant of record for the payment transaction itself: GIJA HUB MB provides and operates the snakkermeget service and fulfils the goal that was bought, while Stripe/Link handle the payment, VAT, receipt and disputes for the purchase. When you create an account or a goal, you accept these terms and confirm that both you and any goal buddies are at least 18 years old.

2. 2. What we offer

   snakkermeget.dk is a digital platform that helps you reach your goals through concrete goals, social accountability and votes. Our service consists of making the platform available for creating goals and running votes. The service is considered fully delivered as soon as a goal has been created.

3. 3. Creating goals

   • A goal must have a clear end date and can have up to two goal buddies.
   • Once a goal has been created, its details cannot be changed.
   • You can choose to "give up" on a goal at any time. If you do, the goal is closed immediately.

4. 4. Your responsibility for content

   • You are fully responsible for all content you share, including the images you upload to your goals.
   • We do not tolerate offensive material, threats, harassment, hate speech or illegal content.
   • Your images must not infringe other people’s privacy or rights, including copyright.
   • Images can be 10 MB at most and must be in JPEG, PNG or WebP format.
   • We reserve the right to remove content and close accounts that break these rules, without notice.

5. 5. Payment and fee

   • Creation fee: Creating a goal costs €9 including VAT (DKK 69 in Denmark). The fee is paid by card via Stripe-hosted Checkout when the goal is created, and covers the creation and use of the service for that goal. The applicable VAT rate depends on your country and is shown before payment.
   • Merchant of record: All payments on snakkermeget.dk go through Stripe Managed Payments, where Stripe or Link is the merchant of record and thus the seller and payee. Stripe/Link handle payment, VAT collection and reporting, tax invoices, refunds and disputes. Stripe/Link send the official receipt and tax invoice. Emails from snakkermeget.dk confirm the purchase and the creation of the goal, but are not tax invoices.
   • No reservation: We do not reserve any amount on your card, and we do not store any card details.
   • Non-refundable: Because the service is delivered immediately at creation, the fee is not refunded. Refund requests are handled by Stripe/Link as merchant of record.
   • Payment failure: If the payment cannot be completed, the goal is not created.

6. 6. Voting on your goal

   • The vote starts at the end date and runs for 48 hours.
   • All participants (you and any goal buddies) have one vote each.
   • If you have no goal buddies, you decide for yourself whether the goal was reached.
   • The decision is made by a simple majority of the votes cast.
   • In the event of a tie, the goal is considered not completed.
   • If nobody votes, the goal is considered "not reached".

7. 7. Goal buddies

   Goal buddies are optional. You can create a goal with no goal buddies, with one or with two. A goal buddy can leave a goal at any time. If that happens, the goal continues with the remaining participants. We do not automatically add new goal buddies.

8. 8. Right of withdrawal

   When you create a goal, you request that our digital service be delivered immediately. You thereby accept that your 14-day right of withdrawal lapses. This is in accordance with section 18(2)(13) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven).

9. 9. Objections and disputes (chargebacks)

   Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments, where Stripe or Link is the merchant of record. Disputes and chargebacks are therefore handled by Stripe/Link. If you wrongfully raise an objection to a charge, Stripe/Link will present documentation of your acceptance of these terms and of the delivery that took place. We reserve the right to follow up on misuse in accordance with applicable rules.

10. 10. Misuse and fraud

    Any attempt to avoid payment, use invalid cards or otherwise misuse the platform will lead to immediate closure of your account and possible recovery of losses.

11. 11. Limitation of liability

    snakkermeget.dk is a tool for boosting your motivation, but we cannot guarantee that you reach your goals. We are not liable for indirect loss or consequential damage unless required by mandatory Lithuanian law.

12. 12. Processing of personal data

    We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. We only collect the data needed to run the platform and carry out payments. Read more in our privacy policy.

13. 13. Changes to the terms

    We may change these terms with 30 days’ notice by email or a notification on the platform. If you continue to use snakkermeget.dk after the changes take effect, that is considered acceptance.

14. 14. Governing law and venue

    These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be decided by the court in Vilnius.
